1. Acceptance of terms

By using ResumeMatch AI, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

2. What we provide

ResumeMatch AI generates AI-assisted resume and cover letter suggestions based on the content you provide and a job posting you specify.

3. Your responsibilities

• You confirm that all information in your uploaded resume is truthful and accurate.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying any AI-generated content before submitting it to an employer.
• You must not use the service to fabricate qualifications, experience, or credentials you do not have.

4. No guarantee of outcomes

ResumeMatch AI is a tool to assist with resume tailoring. We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, or any specific employment outcome. Match scores are estimates based on keyword and content analysis, not a guarantee of ATS system results or hiring decisions, which vary by employer.

5. AI limitations

AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing all output before use. We are not liable for consequences arising from inaccurate AI-generated content that you chose to submit without review.

6. Subscription & payments

• Free tier: 3 free tailorings per account.
• Paid subscriptions are billed via Flutterwave on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis at our discretion, in line with applicable consumer protection law in your country.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ResumeMatch AI and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service, including but not limited to lost job opportunities, lost income, or reputational harm. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the claim.

8. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of your original resume content. We retain ownership of the ResumeMatch AI platform, branding, and underlying technology.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, including using the service for fraudulent purposes (e.g., fabricating credentials).

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
